Architecture firm ERRE has completed the Mercadona headquarters in Albalat dels Sorells, Valencia. The 85,000 m² campus features four parallel buildings connected by vibrant corridors and green courtyards. Designed by partners Jose Martí, Amparo Roig, and M. Ángeles Ros, the project emphasizes sustainability with 380 photovoltaic panels, differentiated facades, and locally sourced materials. The complex employs an activity-based office model with flexible workspaces and a panoramic terrace overlooking the surrounding agricultural landscape. The design integrates technical efficiency with environmental responsibility and worker well-being.
