Enrique Olvera opens San Damián, a Mexican seafood spot in Venice, Los Angeles

Enrique Olvera, the renowned chef behind Damian in Downtown LA and Pujol in Mexico City, has opened a new spot called San Damián. This restaurant, which focuses on Mexican mariscos and agave cocktails, is located in Venice, Los Angeles, in the space that used to be ATLA. The design has been revamped by Mexico City's TALLER ADG and consultant Charlotte Fischli, showcasing a vibrant look with light wood, Artless furniture, woven palm frond ceilings, and artwork by Marcela Calderon and Perla Valtierra. There’s also a taqueria planned for the back patio. Chef Chuy Cervantes, also from Damian DTLA, has crafted a menu featuring ceviches and fish tacos.
