Englebert Jewellery and Swedish Ceramics Unite in Photo Series

Englebert, a Swedish jewellery house founded in Stockholm in 1920, has collaborated with photographer Sophie Kirk and set designer Paul Jackson on a photo series pairing its gold pieces with Swedish studio ceramics. The series juxtaposes Englebert's minimalist 18-carat gold collections—Legacy Knot, Loop, and Drop Link—with ceramics and bronzes from the brand's private collection, including a 1930s Argenta vase, a Tapio Wirkkala bronze, and a Friberg vase. Oscar and Giovanna Engelbert emphasized the shared silhouettes between the objects, stating that the series captures a unified language of form. The project continues Englebert's long-standing support of Swedish design, echoing its origins in the same decade as Wilhelm Kåge's work at Gustavsberg. The brand previously featured vintage Kåge ceramics in its Beverly Hills showroom.
