Enel and TOILETPAPER launch 'MADE OF ENERGY' exhibition during Milan Art Week 2026

exhibition · 2026-04-15

During Milan Art Week 2026, energy company Enel collaborates with TOILETPAPER magazine on a provocative exhibition titled 'MADE OF ENERGY – Enel goes pop by Toiletpaper.' The show runs from April 14 to April 19, 2026, at TOILETPAPER Apartment in Milan's Città Studi district, specifically at Via Balzaretti 8. This free exhibition features eleven specially created photographs by TOILETPAPER's creative team, reinterpreting energy as vital force, movement, and transformation through the magazine's signature saturated colors, surreal scenarios, and recognizable pop imagery. Key concepts for Enel—simplicity, reliability, transparency, care, speed, and contemporaneity—are communicated through this visual narrative. Following its initial presentation, the exhibition becomes itinerant, moving to Enel retail locations. The first stop is Milan's Via Dante 5 store from April 20 to May 3, 2026, then Rome from May 6 to 17, and finally Naples from May 20 to 30. TOILETPAPER was founded by artist Maurizio Cattelan and photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari. The initiative aims to make energy topics more accessible and direct through contemporary art, targeting younger generations. Via Balzaretti has become an international reference point for urban art due to facades decorated with famous TOILETPAPER images. Enel seeks to renew its visual and cultural codes, transforming a traditional service into an impactful experience.
