Emmanuel Boos's First U.S. Solo Show 'Noir C’est Noir' Opens at Raisonné New York

Emmanuel Boos is showcasing his first solo exhibition in the United States at Raisonné in New York, named 'Noir C’est Noir.' This exhibition includes more than seventy pieces, such as stools, tables, vases, and modular forms that merge the realms of sculpture and design. Boos's work celebrates 'happy accidents' in porcelain, featuring a color scheme of rich blacks and Tenmoku browns, occasionally highlighted with celadon or kaki glazes. His creations incorporate architectural elements and resonate with minimalism and constructivism. Previously honored with the LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize, Boos's designs reference influential figures like Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé, presenting objects as spatial propositions and attracting attention from international collectors and European institutions.
