Emerson College Seeks Inaugural Vice President for Media Arts Ventures Division

Emerson College is conducting a search for its first Vice President of Media Arts and Ventures, a newly created executive position. The role involves leading the Division of Media and Arts Ventures (DMAV), which consolidates the college's various arts and media assets into a unified strategic operation. Reporting directly to President Jay M. Bernhardt, the vice president will oversee a portfolio including ArtsEmerson theater programming, multiple performance venues, WERS 88.9 FM radio station, Emerson Contemporary gallery, public art initiatives, and student media outlets. The position is central to implementing Emerson's Extraordinary Emerson 2030 strategic plan, focusing on academic innovation, collaborative connections, community engagement, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing integrated programming, generating revenue through diverse streams, fostering community partnerships, and enhancing student experiential learning opportunities. The annual salary range for the position is $300,000 to $350,000.
