Ella Ion Preps New EP 'Liminal Archive' on Cassette

Adelaide musician Ella Ion discusses her upcoming EP 'Liminal Archive' in an interview with Frankie. The first song written for the EP was 'Mess In Your Eyes' in 2020, which later evolved into a lullaby for a friend. The last addition was 'My Love', recorded DIY on a 4-track tape machine in the Adelaide Hills. Ion's first musical inspiration came from Rabbit Island's album '65% Hits I', purchased on Bandcamp at age 15. Her last Ella Ion show was at the Gem Bar in Collingwood. The EP will be released on cassette, with artwork designed by Ion herself.
