Electronic Intimacy: Night Transmissions Video Art Series Airs on Icelandic National TV

So, there's this cool event called Electronic Intimacy, which is the second edition of Naeturvarp, organized by Margot Norton from the New Museum in New York. It’s going to air on RÚV, Iceland’s national broadcaster, every night from 1:30am to 7:30am, starting with the new moon on February 8, 2016, and wrapping up on February 22, 2016. The program is curated by Edda Kristín Sigurjónsdóttir and Ingibjörg Sigurjónsdóttir and showcases over 40 artists from around the world, including Ragnar Kjartansson and Carolee Schneemann, as well as local Icelandic artists like Dagrún and Helena Aðalsteinsdóttir. The series, which kicked off in 2014, aims to create close connections between audiences and what they see on screen. RÚV will also stream it online.
