El Anatsui Presents New Sculptural Works in Asian Exhibitions with White Cube

White Cube has launched two simultaneous exhibitions in Asia featuring sculptor El Anatsui, marking his inaugural collaboration with the gallery. The shows, held in Hong Kong and Seoul, introduce a fresh series of sculptures that build on his signature use of repurposed materials like metal, ceramic, and wood. This follows his recent display 'After the Red Moon' at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai, which was derived from his 2023–24 Tate Modern installation. The exhibitions highlight Anatsui's ongoing exploration of cultural stories and material reuse through innovative sculptural forms.
