Edward Weston Retrospective at Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris

The Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris is presenting 'Edward Weston: Becoming Modern,' a major exhibition exploring the American photographer's evolution from Pictorialist beginnings to modernist innovation. Curated by Simon Baker, Laurie Hurwitz, Polly Fleury, and Hope Kingsley, the show features over 100 vintage prints from the Wilson Centre for Photography collection, many never before exhibited in France. Running from October 15, 2015, to January 25, 2026, the exhibition traces Weston's artistic development across three decades, highlighting his iconic still lifes, nudes, and landscapes that helped define 20th-century photographic modernism.
