Ediciónes Réplica Launches Fuego Camina Conmigo Book and Exhibition
Founded during the 2020 lockdown by Arturo Salazar and José Ruiz, Ediciónes Réplica has unveiled its newest endeavor, Fuego Camina Conmigo (Fire Walks With Me), a project set for release in 2025 that transitions from book to exhibition, developed in partnership with Riso studio La Bruja Riso. The two artists, who met in art school in Colombia, reunited post-graduation and discovered their shared interests as researchers and curators. Their approach is characterized by experimentation and a focus on materials, employing unique layouts, bindings, design techniques, and exhibition formats to engage audiences in their research. This project deepens their exploration of Latin American photography and photobooks, merging book and exhibition into cohesive outputs.
