Ediciones asimétricas publishes 'Lo intangible en la arquitectura' by Agostino Bossi and Paolo Cecere

Ediciones asimétricas has released a new publication titled 'Lo intangible en la arquitectura' (The Intangible in Architecture), featuring texts by Agostino Bossi and Paolo Cecere. The book explores the enduring nature of architectural works, emphasizing that they are not redundant or trend-driven but aspire to endure, preserving memory and making the past tangible. The authors reflect on how ancient masons and builders crafted stones with skill, creating spaces where life's fervor and movement manifest. They pose a rhetorical question about faith in architecture, marveling at how the intangible emerges from the tangible. Agostino Bossi (born in Pola, 1941) is a doctor of architecture and honorary professor at the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay, and has taught at the Universities of Salamanca and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, as well as the University of Naples until 2012. Paolo Cecere (born in Aversa, 1960) holds degrees in Philosophy and Architecture from the University of Naples Federico II, where he also earned a PhD in Philosophy of the Architectural Interior. He teaches Philosophy and History at the Liceo Classico – Musical Domenico Cirillo in Aversa. The publication is available through Ediciones asimétricas.
