Edge at Hudson Yards Unveils Immersive Art, Norman Rockwell Acquired in Chicago, AIA Announces 2026 Young Architects
This summer, Edge at Hudson Yards, the tallest observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, will unveil a multi-million-dollar artistic overhaul featuring installations such as 'Pulse,' 'Crystal Cave,' and 'Infinite City,' created by Journey, Moment Factory, and SOFTlab. The Art Institute of Chicago has acquired Norman Rockwell's 1948 painting, The Dugout, which portrays disheartened Chicago Cubs players, from Bruce and Diana Rauner. A 19th-century Indian scroll that fuses Mughal and British artistic traditions is currently on display at the Yale Center for British Art. The AIA has revealed the winners of the 2026 Young Architects and Associates Award, including Katherine C. Ackerly and Amanda S. Barton. Herzog & de Meuron will launch a new furniture line for UniFor at Salone del Mobile 2026.
