Eastman Kodak Appoints Dupli as UK Distributor for Rebranded Films

Eastman Kodak has appointed Dupli, a UK-based company, as the official distributor of its rebranded film products in the United Kingdom. The partnership, announced on August 26, 2026, will make Eastman Kodak's film range, including Kodacolor 100 and Kodacolor 200, available to photo retailers, labs, and analog specialists across the UK. Mike Fawcett, CEO of Dupli, expressed pride in the collaboration, noting that demand for analog photography is strengthening in the UK. Dupli has recently expanded its analog offerings by distributing films from CineStill, Candido, Lucky, and KEKS, and has also expanded its product selection from Harman and Ilford. The company will begin selling Eastman Kodak films immediately, including 35mm, 120, and large-format formats. This move is part of Eastman Kodak's strategy to regain control of its film distribution, which was sold to Kodak Alaris in 2013 during financial difficulties. Eastman Kodak's finances have since improved, allowing the company to take back the reins. Dupli will continue to sell Kodak Alaris films alongside the new Eastman Kodak products, though some films are identical or have different names; for example, Eastman Kodak's Portra equivalent is called Ektacolor Pro, and T-Max is now Ektapan. This development is seen as positive for film photographers, offering more options in the analog market.
