Dr. Seuss Grinch Art Leads Heritage's Pop Culture Auction

Heritage Auctions is set to auction a significant assortment of original artwork from the 1966 television version of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas during its event, The Art of Everything Cool — Vol. VIII, taking place from June 19-21. This auction boasts over 1,200 items, including animation, comic art, and pop culture collectibles. Among the Grinch items is what is thought to be the largest collection of original hand-painted Master and Key Master backgrounds ever made available at auction, in addition to production cels, animation drawings, layouts, storyboards, and limited editions. This event coincides with the 60th anniversary of the book's initial release.
