Dimoregallery to Open New Milan Location in Former Bank Building During 2026 Design Week

Dimoregallery, founded in 2014 by creative duo Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran of Dimorestudio, will relocate to a new Milan venue during the 2026 Milan Design Week. The gallery is moving from its original Via Solferino location, where it operated for over a decade, to a former bank building at Via San Vittore al Teatro 1/3, near Piazza Affari. The official opening is scheduled for April 20, 2026, coinciding with the start of Milan Design Week, which runs from April 20-26, 2026. The new space spans two levels and features the original bank vault, preserved and reinterpreted as a central architectural element. For the inaugural exhibition, the gallery will present a selection of historical and contemporary furniture alongside collections from Dimoremilano and Interni Venosta, plus special editions by Dimorestudio. The exhibition will incorporate modern and contemporary artworks, including pieces by Jannis Kounellis, continuing the gallery's signature blend of visual arts and design. Since its founding, Dimoregallery has distinguished itself through a curated selection of historical design pieces that represent significant moments in design history, valued for both formal qualities and synthesis of conceptual research with craftsmanship. The relocation marks a new phase for the gallery, which began as a quasi-domestic project in a 19th-century Milanese apartment before evolving into a six-room exhibition space.
