institutional · 2026-10-20

Arts and culture non-profit leaders worldwide have until December 3, 2026 to apply for the 2027–2029 cohort of the DeVos Institute Global Executive Fellowship, a three-year program offered at no cost to participants. Michael M. Kaiser, chairman of the DeVos Institute, and president Brett Egan direct the intensive training, which covers strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, board governance, human resources and financial planning alongside leadership development. Peer learning, networking and dedicated time for personal reflection round out the curriculum. Each fellow travels to Washington, D.C. for a four-week residency every July across three consecutive years, then puts the strategies developed there into practice inside their own organizations between residencies. The program targets CEOs, executive directors, general managers and other leaders holding strategic responsibility across an organization's core functions, positioning it for people at a career inflection point. Founded in 2001, the fellowship counts more than 250 alumni spread across the United States and more than 50 countries. Organizers describe the initiative as both a catalyst for leaders at pivotal moments and a long-term investment in a generation of peers expected to support one another and their fields throughout their careers. Applications are submitted through an online link, with further details available via the institute.
