Destash Market Brings 14 Artists to Melbourne's Bridge Darebin Community Hall

Second Chance Studio is organizing Destash Market on Saturday, October 3rd at Bridge Darebin Community Hall in Thornbury, Melbourne/Naarm. The event runs from 10am to 3pm and features 14 artists, including Frances Cannon, Ashley Ronning, and Emma Sjaan Beaukers. Destash Market offers pre-loved creative materials, supplies, and tools, alongside workshops. The Beautiful Brooches workshop starts at 11am, and the Banners Big and Tiny workshop begins at 1pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring a shopping bag, a friend, and a gold coin donation for entry. In partnership with Second Chance Studio, frankie magazine is giving away a workshop double pass to one reader; entries can be made on the magazine's win page. The event aims to provide a space for artists and crafters to acquire affordable materials and participate in hands-on workshops. Second Chance Studio, based in Melbourne, is known for its community-focused creative initiatives. The market is part of a broader trend of pop-up craft events in urban centers, fostering local artistic networks and sustainable practices.
