David Zwirner to Represent Robert Therrien Estate Globally

David Zwirner has revealed that it will exclusively represent the Estate of Robert Therrien worldwide, a move that follows the artist's prominent retrospective at The Broad. The gallery intends to organize future exhibitions and initiatives aimed at enhancing global recognition of Therrien's art. Born in Chicago in 1947 and later residing in Los Angeles, Therrien was celebrated for transforming ordinary items into monumental forms. His Downtown Los Angeles studio, constructed in 1990, remains preserved. His works have been showcased at institutions such as LACMA, Tate Modern, Kunstmuseum Basel, MOCA Los Angeles, and Denver Art Museum, and are included in collections at MoMA, Whitney Museum, Centre Pompidou, and The Met.
