David Černý Brings Iconic Works to London for Design Festival
Czech artist David Černý, famous for his striking public art in Prague, is set to launch a solo exhibition in London on September 12. This event will highlight his key works from the 1990s, now transformed into 3D-printed models thanks to Prusa Research, a Czech company. The exhibition is part of the London Design Festival and marks the 30th anniversary of the Made in Prague Festival, organized by the Czech Centre. Černý, who gained fame for his double-decker bus performing push-ups during the 2012 London Olympics, will attend the opening. Among the highlights are The Babies, large crawling sculptures that represent contemporary Prague, notably featured on the TV tower in the Žižkov area, showcasing his influence on the city's art landscape.
