Daniel Buren's site-specific installation on Palatine Hill unveiled in Rome
Daniel Buren's installation, designed specifically for the terrace that overlooks the Domus Severiana within the Imperial Palaces complex, is a component of the larger initiative 'Par tibi, Roma, nihil' in Rome. This artwork will be visible from several kilometers away, reaching as far as the Castelli Romani. Curated by Raffaella Frascarelli, the project spans numerous locations, including the Colosseum, Crypta Balbi, Domus Augustana, Palazzo Altemps, Stadium of Domitian, Baths of Diocletian, Villa Borghese, Villa Farnesina, and Villa Medici. Additionally, international artists Kader Attia and Sislej Xhafa will present their own site-specific pieces. The public unveiling is set for June 24, with support from the Soprintendenza Speciale per il Colosseo and other organizations.
