Cyril Pedrosa and Taiyo Matsumoto Collaborate on 'Nanbanjin'

French comic artist Cyril Pedrosa, known for 'L'Age d'or', has released a new experimental album titled 'Nanbanjin', created in collaboration with Japanese manga artist Taiyo Matsumoto. The work recounts the rebirth of a Portuguese sailor through his encounters with indigenous Japanese people in the 16th century. Pedrosa expressed sadness over the contemporary reduction of otherness, stating, 'L’altérité se réduit aujourd’hui, c’est d’une tristesse infinie' (Otherness is shrinking today, it's infinitely sad).
