Cultura Inquieta and Barceló Hotel Group launch video contest 'El verano está aquí'

Cultura Inquieta and Barceló Hotel Group have launched a video contest titled 'El verano está aquí' from July 17 to August 17, 2026 (Spanish mainland time). The contest invites participants to submit videos or reels on Instagram showing places that embody summer. Two winners will each receive a two-night stay for two people with breakfast at any Barceló Hotel Group hotel in Europe (excluding Royal Hideaway brand), subject to availability, valued at approximately €350 per prize. The prize must be redeemed by June 2027, with blackout periods during summer 2026, Christmas 2026–2027, and Easter 2027. Entries must be 50–90 seconds long, include the hashtag #ElVeranoEstáAquíBarcelo, and tag @culturainquieta and @barcelohotelsresorts. The contest is open to amateurs and professionals worldwide, but prizes are for Spanish residents over 18. A jury from both organizations will select winners, announced approximately two weeks after the deadline. Directors Renata Ciaglia and Quique Santamaría created sample videos at Barceló Punta Umbría Mar and Royal Hideaway Sancti Petri hotels respectively.
