Crescent City Auction Gallery to Sell Mercedes, Marble Lions, and Henner Painting

On July 9-10, 2025, Crescent City Auction Gallery in New Orleans will host an Important Summer Estates Auction, commencing at 10am Central time on both days. This auction will take place both online and in-person at 1330 St. Charles Avenue. Featured items include a 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SL convertible, a duo of carved marble recumbent lions, and an oil painting by Jean-Jacques Henner (1829-1905). The auction encompasses a variety of French, English, and American furniture, original artworks, prints, Oriental carpets, decorative items, and memorabilia from film and television. Key consignments come from New Orleans hotelier Joe Jaeger Jr., as well as the estates of Murphy A. Bourke and Genevieve McClure.
