Crayford Automobiles unveils Mini Mojito Mk2 beach car
Since 1963, Crayford Automobiles has been customizing Minis and has now unveiled the Mini Mojito Mk2, a handcrafted beach vehicle offered in both ICE and EV versions. This restomod utilizes an authentic British Leyland Mini, featuring an altered bodyshell with removed doors and a sliding sunroof. Noteworthy elements include weatherproof upholstery suitable for marine use, eco-friendly teak flooring, and a choice of four colors: White Sand, Beach Yellow, or Surf Blue. Kent Thirley, the executive director, mentioned that the only mechanical modifications involve retuning the engine for enhanced low-end torque and fitting Mini Cooper-spec disc brakes. Priced from £29,950, the Mojito targets yacht owners, hotel chains, estate proprietors, and collectors. Currently, it is the sole Mini conversion offered by Crayford, with additional designs in the pipeline.
