Corinne Deville was a French artist known for creating a distinctive artistic universe populated by fantastical characters and imaginative scenes. Her work featured vividly colored, assertive female figures and often dark-skinned male characters in series exploring different themes. One series focused on global travels as she imagined them, incorporating landscapes, human figures, animals, ships, and sailors. Another series presented a bestiary of creatively constructed creatures that transform and interact with the pictorial space, demonstrating her inventive approach and understanding of painting techniques.
