Colorlib Survey Finds Most Therapist Websites Withhold Fees and Availability
On September 10, 2026, Colorlib released a survey analyzing thirty psychotherapy practice websites. Among these, 22 feature a booking control prominently on the homepage, yet only 2 incorporate a genuine scheduling system, with none offering visible appointment times. Fees are listed by 15 practices, but only 3 present this information on their homepage; 12 mention insurance options, and 3 indicate a sliding scale. Just 7 confirm whether they are accepting new clients. Notable practices include Alexandria Art Therapy, Ever Be Therapy, Jaree Basgall, and Cindy Shu Therapy. The survey found that 12 websites are hosted on Squarespace, 10 on WordPress, 3 on Wix, and 2 on Webflow. Additionally, 23 sites utilize warm color accents, while 14 opt for cool tones. The article also differentiates between psychotherapists, counselors, and psychologists versus other types of therapies.
