Brighton-based alt-pop newcomer Coco and the Lost has released her latest single 'Sweet Lullabies,' accompanied by a self-directed music video. The track serves as the opening statement for her debut album 'Modern Lover Girl,' arriving this autumn. The song blends glossy pop with a sinister, surreal undertone, inspired by characters like Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Coco envisioned, filmed, and edited the DIY visual herself, depicting a neon-pink staircase leading into shadows. Her background includes dance, acting, comedy writing, and copywriting, and she began the project with her father, a sound engineer and producer, during lockdown. She has performed at venues like The Roundhouse and Electric Brixton and supported acts such as The Ting Tings, Jesse Jo Stark, and Sleeper.
