Clare Perrott Releases New Single 'How Can I Tell You?'

Perth/Boorloo-based indie folk artist Clare Perrott has released her latest single, "How Can I Tell You?", a song she describes as a love letter to the friendships she's grown up with. The track emerged while Perrott was in Sydney and had purchased her first nylon guitar. She explained that the song was born from a realization that music had taken over her life, sometimes making her less present, and from a desire to express her feelings to the important people in her life. Perrott, who is also a journalism student, writes film reviews and creates soundtracks in her spare time. She cites Faye Webster, Billie Marten, and Adrianne Lenker as musical heroes. "How Can I Tell You?" is the first in a series of new music she plans to release, and she is excited about upcoming shows. She expressed gratitude to her band for their contributions to the recording.
