Cinta Vidal's Gravity-Defying Architectural Paintings Explore Divergent Realities

Cinta Vidal, a Barcelona-based painter and muralist, creates acrylic-on-wood works featuring architectural elements that appear to defy gravity. Her compositions, which she terms 'un-gravity constructions,' depict apartments, staircases, and streets intersecting in impossible perspectives reminiscent of M.C. Escher. Vidal's background in theater scenography, including training at Escola Massana and an apprenticeship at Castells Planas, informs her approach to scale and detail.
