Christopher Kane Appointed Creative Director at Mulberry, Plans London Fashion Week Return

Christopher Kane has been named the new creative director at Mulberry, marking his return to fashion after closing his own business in 2023. He and his sister Tammy Kane are working from Mulberry's Kensington Church Street studio on a collection for London Fashion Week in September. This will be Mulberry's first runway show since February 2017. The British leather goods company, founded by Roger Saul in 1971 in Somerset, has previously had creative directors including Stuart Vevers, Emma Hill, and Jonny Coca. Kane's appointment follows a 2024 collaboration with Self-Portrait that sold out quickly, demonstrating his continued appeal.
