Christoph Grunenberg joins Van Gogh Museum Supervisory Board

Christoph Grunenberg, currently at the helm of Kunsthalle Bremen, has officially joined the supervisory board of Amsterdam's Van Gogh Museum. The museum highlighted Grunenberg's extensive experience in both museum management and curatorial work. With more than 30 years in the international museum field, he has served as director of Tate Liverpool and worked as a curator at the Tate in London. His resume also features positions at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, Kunsthalle Basel, and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Grunenberg’s expertise in curating major global exhibitions and his numerous publications on modern and contemporary art are noteworthy. This appointment is anticipated to strengthen the ongoing partnership between the two institutions.
