Christie's Paris Presents Free Exhibition of Modern and Contemporary Masterpieces Ahead of April 2026 Auctions

From April 9 to 16, 2026, Christie's Paris will present a complimentary public exhibition at 9 Avenue Matignon, featuring highlights from its Week 20/21 auctions scheduled for April 15, 16, and 17. The exhibition will include prominent artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Among the showcased pieces are Edgar Degas's pastel 'Femme en peignoir jaune se coiffant' from 1894, estimated at €1.8–2.5 million, and Pablo Picasso's 1906 drawing 'Femme nue debout aux mains croisées,' valued at €1.2–1.8 million. Visitors can explore the exhibition daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering a glimpse of rare works and exceptional provenances ahead of the auctions.
