Christie's Hong Kong Spring Auctions Feature Richter and Sanyu Works in Major Sales Event

Christie's will hold its 20th/21st Century Spring Auctions in Hong Kong during late March 2026, marking the auction house's 40th anniversary in Asia. The event includes an evening sale on March 27 followed by day sales on March 28, featuring significant artworks by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Sanyu, Walter Spies, David Hockney, Yayoi Kusama, and Zao Wou-Ki. A public preview exhibition runs from March 24-27 at Christie's Asia Pacific headquarters in The Henderson building. Richter's 1991 abstract painting carries an estimated value between HK$78 million and HK$98 million.
