Christian Marclay Presents New Collage Series Focused on Listening at Gallery Koyanagi

Gallery Koyanagi will host 'Christian Marclay: Listening,' a solo exhibition featuring recent collage works by the artist from April 4 to June 30, 2026. The show centers on the theme of listening, with pieces like 'Concentric Listening' and 'Eccentric Listening' that explore the intersection of sound and visual perception through fragmented imagery. This marks Marclay's fourth solo presentation at the gallery since 2001 and commemorates the 40th anniversary of his initial trip to Japan in 1986. Marclay, known for blending audio and visual elements in his practice, has a background in experimental music and has exhibited globally, receiving the Golden Lion at the 2011 Venice Biennale.
