Charlotte Meyer's Inherited Rembrandt Etchings Debut at Stedelijk Museum Zutphen Exhibition

Charlotte Meyer inherited a portfolio of Rembrandt van Rijn etchings that had remained untouched in a family vault for a century. After discovering their significance in 2018 with help from experts at the Rembrandthuis, she has expanded the collection through acquisitions. The works, which include rare first states from the 17th century, are now publicly displayed for the first time in the exhibition 'Rembrandt – Van donker naar licht' at Stedelijk Museum Zutphen. Museum director Paulo Martina collaborated on the exhibition, which also features works by Rembrandt's contemporaries to provide historical context. Interactive elements allow visitors to trace the artist's etching techniques.
