Chanpan Release "speculations" Single and Video, Announce Europe and Asia Tour Dates
The New York City band Chanpan has unveiled "speculations," a fresh single accompanied by a music video, produced by Oscar Scheller. This release comes after their June EP autogratis and a remix project that included collaborations with HOMESHAKE and Tom VR. It coincides with the announcement of new dates for their autogratis headline tour across Europe and Asia. Musically, "speculations" leans towards dance, starting with acoustic guitar before transitioning into four-on-the-floor beats, synths, and an uplifting drop. The lyrics reflect the pressures of a budding music career, with the band encouraging listeners to embrace fearlessness. The VHS-style video showcases Grace Dumdaw and twins Lance and Matthew Tran enjoying a day at Coney Island. The single is available now.
