Chaillot Palace Opens Its Doors for Heritage Days with Dance Performances

The Art Deco Palais de Chaillot in Paris transforms into a complimentary dance venue during the European Heritage Days. Constructed for the 1878 Universal Exhibition and later rebuilt in 1937, it features guided tours across 26,000 square meters, highlighting the location where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed on December 10, 1948. The Vilar hall, currently undergoing renovations, is set to reopen in 2027. Events include SUPERCAST, showcasing fifty young artists, and the Sub Rosa exhibition. De Keersmaeker will engage in a discussion with Laure Adler, while performances by Solal Mariotte and Hoketus are also scheduled. The weekend wraps up with a DJ set from the 1980s at 9:45 PM. Guided tours, lasting 45 minutes, require reservations. The Chaillot Expérience operates Saturday from 2 PM to 11 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM.
