Centro Pecci turns 30 with exhibition at Gallery Hotel Art in Florence

exhibition · 2026-05-04

The 30th anniversary of the Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato is marked by the exhibition 'Opere d'arte e momenti magici' at Gallery Hotel Art in Florence, running until December 2018. This showcase includes 30 pieces from 21 Italian artists, such as Alessandro Alimonti and Andy Warhol. A new site-specific installation by Loris Cecchini is set to debut in late June. Since 2012, the hotel has collaborated with the museum for annual exhibits. Curated by Stefano Pezzato, this exhibition seeks to broaden the museum's audience. The Centro Pecci was inaugurated on June 25, 1988, and experienced a significant expansion in 2016. Official festivities are scheduled for June 23–24, 2018, with plans for a project in Prato's Macrolotto Zero area.
