Cecily Brown's The Haunter to Lead Christie's London Sale with £2.2m–£2.8m Estimate

On June 25th in London, Christie's Post-War to Present auction will feature Cecily Brown's 2010 artwork, The Haunter, with an estimated value of £2.2 million–£2.8 million ($2.95 million–$3.76 million). This piece has remained in a single private collection since 2011. The auction aligns with a significant exhibition of Brown's art at the Serpentine Galleries. In November 2025, Brown achieved a new auction record when High Society (1997–98) fetched $9.81 million at Sotheby's New York, surpassing its $4–6 million estimate.
