Castello di Rivoli Announces 2025 Seminar on Exhibition History and Curatorial Practices

The Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea has launched an open call for a seminar titled 'Raccontare le mostre. Per una storia della curatela al Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea. Testimonianze e confronti.' Organized by the museum's CRRI research center, this program targets researchers and professionals aged 25 to 40. Led by Antonella Soldaini, the seminar will examine exhibition history and curatorial methods, using the museum's own exhibition history as a primary case study. Topics include curatorial history, exhibition studies, performance art history, museology, archives, Arte Povera, gender studies, and post-humanism. The seminar will take place on July 24-25 and September 25-26, 2025, at the Castello di Rivoli. Participants will complete exercises and produce an original text that may be presented at a study day marking the museum's 40th anniversary in December 2025. Applications are due by June 23, 2025.
