Castellani Art Museum Opens Dual Spring Exhibitions on Environment and American History

The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University presents two major spring exhibitions opening simultaneously. Human/Nature: Envisioning the Environment runs from February 26, 2026, to January 23, 2027, featuring seven contemporary artists examining environmental themes. Guest curator Douglas Tewksbury, Ph.D., organized this exhibition. A companion exhibition titled USA250: Celebrating the American Vision explores national history and identity. Both shows utilize contemporary and historical artworks to investigate themes of responsibility, resilience, and imagination. The museum invites public engagement with these interconnected exhibitions that consider humanity's relationship with nature and America's evolving narrative. These presentations encourage reflection on past influences and future possibilities.
