Casemore Gallery presents 'Automata Sigils' with six women artists

So, on June 27, from 5 to 8 pm, there's going to be a new exhibition called 'Automata Sigils' at the Casemore Gallery in San Francisco. It features the work of six talented female artists who dive into topics like technology, coded systems, and historical gadgets. The name of the exhibition contrasts two ideas: automaton, which is all about mechanical processes and programmed behavior, and sigil, which involves symbols and rituals that convey meaning. These artists are using all sorts of materials—like Jacquard looms, steel mobiles, 1970s computer paper, ulexite crystal, archival photos, and digital video—to transform these tools into fascinating pieces that spark imagination.
