case/lang/veirs Reunite for 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

The 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of the collaborative album by Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs, known collectively as case/lang/veirs, has been released. The trio, each already established singer-songwriters, formed in 2016 after a spontaneous email from lang to the other two. Despite barely knowing each other at the time, their self-titled album sounded cohesive, blending their distinct voices and personalities. The anniversary edition is pressed on orange vinyl and includes 13 bonus tracks: the previously unreleased single "Accidental Tattoo" and twelve live recordings from the album's tour, which also featured solo songs. These live tracks, while not essential, offer insight into the warm humor of the group. The album's symbiotic nature is exemplified in songs like "Supermoon," originally written by Veirs about her son, but later reworked by Case into a universal message about nature exploitation.
