Casalgrande Padana launches Saxum outdoor porcelain stoneware tiles

architecture-design · 2026-04-24

Casalgrande Padana, an Italian tile manufacturer, has unveiled Saxum, a new line of outdoor porcelain stoneware tiles that emulate the appearance of natural stone. These tiles showcase soft earthy and sandy tones complemented by sophisticated veining, reflecting the natural imperfections formed over time. Available in five neutral shades—Antracite, Beige, Bianco, Grigio, and Perla—and three dimensions (1200x1200, 600x600, and 300x600 mm), the 20 mm thick outdoor tiles feature an anti-slip Grip surface, making them ideal for terraces, patios, verandas, walkways, and swimming pools. They can be installed on screed with adhesive for enhanced load capacity or dry laid on sand, gravel, or turf, facilitating seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas.
