Casa Valle: A Modern Residence in Valle de Bravo by DAFdf arquitectura Y urbanismo
Casa Valle, crafted by DAFdf arquitectura Y urbanismo, is located in the elevated region of Valle de Bravo, Mexico, on a site characterized by irregular topography and intricate polygonal forms. Spanning 425 square meters, the design incorporates vertical elements of glass, steel, and wood that rise among the pine trees following a steep incline. A concrete platform hovers above the tree tops, overlooking a rocky slope adorned with vegetation. The lead architects are Gabriela Bojalil and Paul van der Voort, supported by a technical team that includes Jassiel Cante, Israel Reyes, and Pablo Moisés. Joaquín Gutiérrez Vega managed structural engineering, while Juventino Mercado oversaw MEP engineering. Jorge Cornish Álvarez directed general construction, with contributions from manufacturers like Interceramic and Kolorines, and the project was curated by Valentina Díaz.
