Casa Taliru: Multigenerational Residence in Bengaluru Designed by Wright Inspires

Casa Taliru is a residential architectural project completed in 2025 in Bengaluru, India. Designed by the firm Wright Inspires, the 3,581 square foot house was created for a five-member family spanning three generations, including grandparents, parents, and a teenage child. The design concept centers on simplicity, continuity, and everyday comfort, drawing inspiration from traditional courtyard homes. The architectural approach integrates natural elements such as light, ventilation, vegetation, and water as functional components of daily living rather than decorative features. The design process involved close collaboration with the family, prioritizing lifestyle needs, cultural memory, and long-term adaptability over formal trends. The project team includes lead architect Prathima Seethur, design team member Atchaya Gopalsamy, general contractor Srinivas L V, and engineering consultant Srinivas. Photography was handled by Studio f/8 - Mr. Dinesh, and the project utilized products from suppliers including Kohler, Jaquar, and Weinerberger Bricks. The residence represents a contemporary interpretation of vernacular architecture focused on sustainable living and family-oriented design.
