Casa Museu Eva Klabin Launches Research Residency with R$6,000 Grants for Andean and Oriental Collections

The Casa Museu Eva Klabin in Rio de Janeiro has opened applications for its research residency program 'Dentro de Casa,' offering two grants of R$6,000 each. The initiative invites researchers, artists, and those interested in Museology and Art History to submit proposals focused on the museum's Andean and Oriental collections. Selected participants will spend three months examining the institution's artworks, documentation, and archival materials, culminating in a written work and public presentation. Applications must be submitted via an online form by 5 PM on April 24. The residency aims to deepen study of the museum's holdings and encourage projects that expand knowledge about its collection while fostering dialogue between research, documentation, and historical reflection. Participants will have direct access to pieces and can consult iconographic, bibliographic, and archival materials, with in-person meetings at the museum's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro supported by the Museology team and other departments. The program is open to individuals with complete or ongoing higher education, not restricted to those with advanced degrees.
