Casa Ceniza: A 2026 Residential Project in Mexico City by TACO taller de arquitectura contextual

Casa Ceniza, a single-family home designed by TACO taller de arquitectura contextual, is scheduled for completion in 2026 in Mexico City. The project, led by architect Carlos Patrón Ibarra with a design team including Kristell Guillen and Daniel Ruíz, spans 626 square meters. It features a massive geometric volume that shields the residence from the street while creating an inward-focused domestic landscape of patios, water features, and vegetation. The architecture is introspective, with spaces gradually revealed along a journey through the interior. Photographer Manolo R. Solís documented the project, which was curated by Valentina Díaz. The house remains closed to the exterior but opens extensively to interior gardens and courtyards.
