Casa Bersatu: Estudio D3B Designs 2022 Family Retreat in Costa Rican Nature

Completed in 2022, Casa Bersatu serves as a gathering place for a globally dispersed family seeking connection in nature. The 250-square-meter residence in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica was designed by Estudio D3B under the leadership of Demian Bournissen. Architectural photography was handled by Depth Lens - Alvaro Fonseca, while the construction was overseen by GFM - Gianfranco Michelini. Technical team members Ismael Arroyo and Shiary Martinez contributed to the project, which was curated by Valentina Díaz. The design intentionally weaves together family memories, local climate conditions, and landscape features to create a domestic experience immersed in the natural environment.
